Basic Chinese for travellers
Besides the big cities like Shanghai and Beijing, in most of the cities, Chinese is the only language you can listen and speak.
English speakers are a few, even in hotels and touristic places.
In China there is an official alphabet that serves as a link between Chinese and western languages, is called Pin-Yin.
Pin-Yin is the way Chinese is written using roman characters.
So, if you plan to come to China, here are some phrases may be helpful:
